Making a Difference in Our Community
Carrie has been with CASA since the end of 2018, but has been employed in human services for almost 2 decades and has always focused on helping families move towards stability and self-sufficiency. She completed 2 Master Degrees programs at Carlow University and serves as a Board Member for When She Thrives and volunteers with the Literacy Council.
Lynn has been with CASA for Kids, Washington since 2006. Prior to her employment in Washington, PA, Lynn worked as a Resource/Funds Developer for the Ohio CASA GAL Association and as a Volunteer/Event Coordinator for Ronald McDonald House in Columbus for over 15 years. Lynn is active with her church in several volunteer roles, and serves on the board for ARC Human Services. She graduated from Seton Hill in Greensburg and Capital University in Columbus.
Cindy started with CASA for Kids, Washington in fall of 2016 as a CASA Advocate. After finding out how fulfilling it was to research the case and advocate for the children’s needs in and out of the courtroom, she took the leap to become an Advocate Supervisor to help more children in Washington County, in January 2018. Brainstorming and investigating ways to assist children to heal and grow in an ever changing world continues to challenge and motivate her to continue.
Carol has been with CASA for 3 years. Starting as a Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteer for the first 1 ½ years, and now in the role of Advocate Supervisor. Carol earned a BA in Child Advocacy at the University of Tennessee and a MA from Penn State University. Upon graduation, Carol was employed as citizen inspector for juvenile delinquent homes. While working for the Penn State College of Medicine, she served on the Board for Lancaster County Chapter of the National Committee for Prevention of Child Abuse and for four years coordinated the Annual Meeting of Children Youth and Families in Harrisburg. Carol volunteers at her church and through the years, has taught children and has coordinated programming for parents and youth ministry.
Gina started employment with CASA for Kids, Washington in March of 2020, in the newly created fundraising and marketing role. Gina brings more than a decade of marketing, fundraising and nonprofit management experience to CASA for Kids, Washington. In addition to her responsibilities at CASA, Gina serves as a Board Member for the Monessen Salvation Army, as the Marketing Chair/Board Member for Mon Valley Alliance, and as a Trustee of the Belle Vernon Area Charitable Trust Foundation.
Peyton is the newest member of CASA for Kids, Washington team having started employment in July 2021. Previous to her role at CASA, she worked at KidBiz in Washington and has been employed at the Brownson House Inc./Vernon C. Neal Sportsplex for four years.
